One cannot simply come to Lebanon and not see Byblos. I strongly recommend it, as an old Lebanese traditional town by the beach to fall in love with. Personally I like Byblos more than Beirut itself. I'll leave you to be the judge of that.

This area is a nice natury area known for it's cultural importance in Lebanese History, you can also have tours in the moussa castle next to it, and have dinner in a Lebanese traditional restaurant in the area. However to visit this area, you definitely need a car or a driver.

One of the best sweets in Lebanon. Their sfouf and maamoul mad is to die for. It's also my personal best kunefe in Lebanon but all their knefe would be bought by 1:30 so make sure you go there in the morning. PS: place has no seating, it's only take away.

Up the mountain of Jabal Moussa ( Mount Moussa) is a nice Cozy hidden lake surrounded by the beauty of the Lebanese nature. You are gonna have to go on a 45 mins hike to reach the Lake but I bet you it's worth the short hike. Don't forget your swim suit.

It's a shopping street with a lot of cheap clothes. Some of them sell only a high quantity to stores while others sell unique pieces. It's also 5 mins away from the apartment by walking.
