Take a ferry from B shed (1.5 km away) and head to Rottnest (or Rotto as the locals call it) for the day.
You'll feel like you are in the Greek Islands. Hire a bike either from the Ferry Service or take a short walk when you get there to the Rottnest bike store for better quality bikes. Ride to the Basin for a stunning swim, try the bakery for some local delights, or The Lane for great coffee and smoothies. Ride to Longreach Bay for another swim and great food at the Longreach Cafe or head back to the main settlement for lunch at the Rottnest Pub.
