For being a landlocked area you wouldn't think that Bigfork would have good sushi but Saketome is very delicious! It can get a little spendy but it is well worth it. The quaint restaurant has incredible atmosphere, tasty food, and friendly people.

This brewery not only has award winning beer but also has a pretty decent menu. The new brewery was just finished about a year ago so it is a nice place to go grab lunch or have a drink with dinner.

This is a more upscale restaurant for the surrounding area. It can be a little expensive but everything I have tried on the menu has been amazing. It is a steakhouse but they also have really great seafood. It is two stories with the restaurant on top and a quiet bar below. The bar also hosts bands from time to time.

35427 6This is a more upscale restaurant for the surrounding area. It can be a little expensive but everything I have tried on the menu has been amazing. It is a steakhouse but they also have really great seafood. It is two stories with the restaurant on top and a quiet bar below. The bar also hosts bands from time to time.
If you feel like taking a drive around the lake, Somers Bay Cafe is a great place to grab breakfast or lunch. It is about a half hour from the cabin but the drive alone is well worth it.

Drinks & Nightlife
This is the best place to grab drinks and listen to some live music that is within ten minutes of the cabin. During the summer it is a very popular place to grab a drink. People can park on the street or tie their boat off on the dock. Very reasonable prices for food and drink

If you're young, or just young at heart, the Garden bar is where you want to be at night during the weekends (along with the Raven). It is a single story bar with a large outdoor area where they host bands.

Entertainment & Activities
The KwaTaqNuk is a nice hotel/casino located in Polson. It is a great place to have some excitement on the machines or tables and can be a very nice change of pace from the other venues in the area. If you are having guests that need a place to stay I recommend the KwaTaqNuk or the Marina Cay in Bigfork.

If you feel like getting off the beaten path and want a huge adrenaline rush, book a float with Glacier Raft Company. It is an experience you will not soon forget and one to make your Montana stay even more memorable.

During the winter, Whitefish Mountain Resort has one of the best ski hills in the nation. During the summer, the mountain stays alive with gondola rides to the summit with amazing views of Glacier Park, challenging mountain bike terrain, and a top notch zipline tour and ropes course. The mountain stays so busy year round it basically has its own town at the base, with hotels, bars, and restaurants.

If you feel like taking a day trip, go to Whitefish, you will not be disappointed. During the day you can take a walk down main street and visit all the great, local shops. During the evening Whitefish has the best restaurants in the Flathead Valley. After dinner, depending on what you have in mind, you can find anything from quiet, intimate spots to grab a cocktail, or hopping dance clubs that are packed until closing.

Sightseeing
There is a large history that goes along with Wildhorse Island, stemming back from the height of the Salish and Kootenai Tribes that inhabited the Flathead Valley. If you have the time, I greatly urge you to take a tour to the island.
