Parks & Nature
This is a moderate hike to a mountain that will give you sprawling, beautiful views of the National Park and Killarney Lakes. It'll take around 2 to 3 hours depending upon ability. There are no signs for this mountain as its not on the well traveled tourist path and is frequented mostly by locals.
This is perfect for beginner walkers or those with older children. It can also be incorporated with some other sightseeing spots to make a whole day trip.
We can offer packed lunches upon request and tailored to your needs.

A heritage home on gorgeous grounds. Located in the National Park, Muckross House is a furnished 19th-century mansion set among mountains and woodland.
Manicured lawns and gardens over views of the lakes offer great photo opportunities and if you get sunshine the perfect place to picnic.
There's a cafeteria inside with reasonable meals and decent coffee as well. If you're with kids, check out the working farm on the property.

There are other intersting churches to vist for different christian denominations such as the beautiful Franciscan friary and St Marys church of the Sloes (Anglican) in the heart of Killarney.
