You can’t experience the real folklore or feel in a city without visiting the local market. Markets in Mexico are a plus because there is always something really delicious and greasy to eat there. This place specializes on hangover breakfasts and coffee remedies, here you can have a test of the local cuisine and wonder around where you can also buy fresh vegetables, fruit, meat, etc.

"El Sazon de Lucy" es una cocina económica, donde encontraras el autentico sabor casero, a tan solo dos cuadras de los departamentos encuentras el lugar ideal para desayunar y comer, los desayunos son al gusto, el almuerzo comúnmente ofrece dos a tres platillos para escoger, y si gustas comer algo mas saludable, siempre estarán dispuestos a prepararte una rica ensalada con pollo, jamón o atún. con un horario de 8:00am a 4:00pm.

Villa de Seris is a traditional neighborhood where you can wonder around its narrow streets, with its own cathedral and a plaza, this area is good for a Sonoran desert well know within the state and beyond "Coyotas" are like a huge flat cookie filled with different kinds of jam or traditional sweets like jamoncillo, during summer you can have some filled with ice cream. This is the typical dessert for an afternoon coffee break at home

Just across from the cathedral on your right side you find The Old City Hall (white building), it has some of the most beautiful murals depicting history, historical personalities, Sonora tribes and the building itself its beautiful and well maintained. entrance is free.

El Cerro de la Campana is Hermosillo’s most iconic symbol. You can get up there by car or foot. For the best view, I recommend you to go just before the sun sets to experience a true desert sun setting. You will be amazed by all the colors and lights coming up as the night gets darker

Plaza Bicentenario was built and open to public in 2010 to commemorate 200 of independence and 100 of the Mexican revolution, a place you can enjoy with family, sometimes there are cultural events with performances, specially during 'Fiestas del Pitic".

This is located about 1.4 miles and can take you a 30 minutes by walk from our place, with its recent renovation it has become more active than ever. You can go for a quick jog or walk. My favorite activity is walk around the area
