There's a lot of great places to eat in Brno. Don't forget to try some typical Czech food while here. :) But Brno offers so much more - you can try indian, italian, mexican, vietnamese, vegan, fast food, slow food etc :) Let me list some of our favorite places.
Our favourite indian restaurant. The price for a main is around 200 - 250 CZK. On weekdays, they have a set lunch menu at a heavily discounted price - 95 CZK for most dishes (includes soup of the day).

Awesome place to go if you’re in mind for some fine dining. Their tasting menu is a great experience for your taste buds, especially when paired with wine tasting (priced at 990 CZK without wine, 1600 CZK with). They do have a set menu as well.

Did you know that the Czech Republic consumes more beer per capita than any other country in the world? How wild is that? :D :D
Oh and good news - the beer is most of the times cheaper then water in bars or restaurants.
Brno is also located in the Moravian wine region so we can offer some good wines too.
What about drinks? We happen to have the best bar of Czech republic right in the city center.
An award winning bar with amazing cocktails as well as extensive selection of whiskeys, rums and other liquor. The place gets very busy, so I recommend either getting there early or making a reservation. A bit on the pricier side (around 150 CZK per cocktail), but definitely worth the price.

This is a special place if you're reaaaaly into wine. They are able to open any super fancy bottle of wine for you even if you want just a taste. (because they can somehow preserved even an opened bottle - they'd tell you more :) )
And their food - omg!! I've never eaten such good food.
But it's pricy, more like for special occasions. :)

The food scene in Brno is incredible :) You can enjoy almost every type of couisine and most of the best of the best restaurants are located just within walking distance.
And those cafes.. :) Did you know that the first cafe in what is today Czechia was opened in 1702 in Brno?! Nowadays you can enjoy high quality coffee in many nice cafés and most of them can offer you also delicious cakes.
The best hot chocolate we've ever tasted. The only dowside is that their staff is usualy super slow. But really, it is worth to wait. :)

You can find their small colorful ice-cream carts for ex. on the Freedom square, The Cabbage Market or on the Moravian square park. They serve vegan ice-cream which is really really good and from real ingredients.

Try this! :) Trdelník or trdlo is a kind of spit cake. It is made from rolled dough that is wrapped around a stick, then grilled and topped with sugar and walnut mix. It's yummy.
But I've never tried the coffee.

Sightseeing
Here is our list of most interesting things in Brno. Most of them are located in the city centrum.
If the weather is nice and you are up for some cycling, we would recommend to visit also Brno Reservoir. There you can take a ride on a boat to see the Veveri Castle.

Look arround and admire the architecture :) It's surrended by many nice historical buildings. And two super ugly buildings from comunists era. :D
