This is the famous Makaha Beach! There are often surf contests hosted here and it is right down the street from our condo! Walk, run, bike or drive there-it's so close! This is a great place to watch the sunset.

This is a gorgeous hike that actually wraps around and can bring you out on the North Shore side of the island. It is so different from the North Shore side entry point that I definitely recommend. At the end is a sanctuary which you can often see Hawaiian monk seals and Albatross. It takes about 2-3 hours depending on pace and is best done in the morning before it gets too hot. Make sure you don't leave any valuables in your car when parking it.

Visit Pipeline to watch a surf contest during the winter months and see surfers catching some serious bombs! A must see for anyone who enjoys the sport or can respect the courage it takes to catch those waves.
