Craft Beers - they have changed the menu here to be more gastro style - might be worth trying if you don't want to travel too far.

You will need to book this place most of the time. It isn't that easy to get in by just turning up....you may have to wait an hour.

Great meat restaurant. Go for the steak for 2 (cote de boeuf), and one of their Malbec wines... or go with anything they recommend - I have never been led astray!

48 Hogan Place3 mins walk from the house... Japanese place. There are a few of these restaurants in Dublin, this one only opened in 2017. Reasonably priced, good reviews, very convenient. It is opened until 10 pm, so if you arrive late and need to eat but don't fancy going into the city, this is perfect.
Nice place to go for a sandwich or plate of food. Nice wine selection and a choice of craft beers.
A good pitstop on the way back from the city.

Greystones then has a huge selection of cafes and restaurants to choose from. Get the DART back and enjoy the scenery aasthe train snakes its way along the coast back to the city
