Where you get off if you are arriving/returning to the Rose and Stag. Nearest eastbound transit stop, heading to nearby Pacific National Exhibition, Pacific Collusseum, nearby shopping/banks etc.. if you don't want to walk 2-6 blocks on Hastings.

This is a really beautiful park within a few minutes drive from the Rose and Stag. Trees, streams, walking/hiking, bridges and trails. Want some BC nature nearby, this is a good place.

Nearest beach. You can swim here if you like, and there's also quite a nice public pool that's not too crowded. For a fancier, larger beach, I recommend second beach or third beach in Stanley Park downtown though.

This is a swimming and sunning beach, with concession stand and public pool nearby. Good for kids. See also third beach, which is better for swimming.

This is a nice swimming and sunning beach, busy in the summer but better access to parking. Right inside the park, so beautiful setting. Concession stand. Stairs down to beach, or there is a ramp off the north side of the concession as well. In the summer on weeknights sometimes there is drumming after 6 pm, which some like and some don't. For quiet, go during the daytime instead.
