This Austin import has some interesting and very tasty, tacos. It can get pretty crowded but it's worth checking out.

We go here almost every Tuesday for our taco Tuesday fix. There taco and gorditas are more Mexican than Tex-Mex. They also have an amazing jalapeno margarita.

This is a great burger place to try if you're okay with a long wait. I love their Frito Pie burger. They also have a really good one called the Sticky Monkey which has peanut butter and bananas on it!

This is our favorite Asian place in Houston and it's in our neighborhood. They have a great mix of Vietnamese and Hunan dishes. They even make their own crab puffs and filling! Only 5 minutes away.

It's not fancy, but we love this diner for Sunday breakfast. You'll find classic American breakfasts here. 5 minutes away by car, but also makes for a nice morning walk or bike ride.

Very popular place in the neighborhood and just a short 10 minute walk from the house. The friend pickles and Texas Frito Pie are delicious. They have a full bar and a lot of great outdoor space.
