Toho Movie Studios are a short walk from my place they have amazing murals of Samarai Movies This is the studio that produced Godzilla and there is a statue of Godzilla swiping his tail and gorging out a piece of the side building at the entrance . This is classic a must see.

The Okura Daibutsu (Big Buddha) Is famous for changing facing direction. The festival of the Thousand Whirling lights is in November A very dynamic festival with drumming and skirted staffs twirled and danced above the heads of the milling crowds.

"Okamoto Hachiman Shrine" is just behind the Okamoto Park Old Farm House Garden. As you go up the steep set of steps an old and quaint shrine like ones used in old stories comes into view.

This is hands the best park in Tokyo. Where else can you sit on the lawn and eat your lunch to sound of the birds from the bird sanctuary next door? There is a cycling track used by runners so if you are an enthusiast and can't do without your morning run this is the place for you . In the Spring the cherry blossoms are astoundingly beautiful.

This is an Edo Period House. You can enter (free of charge) by removing your shoes at the doorway. The center fire pit it kept lit. There are house hold goods and machinery used for daily living. The House is thickly thatched in a green setting. It is a pleasant strolling distance down the stream from my place, and there is a nature walk.

From here it is a short trip to Shibuya渋谷駅 on the train 10 mins.
