The old part of town is a small but picturesque area with interesting small shops and nice restaurants and a beautiful plaza right at the lake. A must see when in Zug.

Lake Ägeri is beautiful, smaller than Lake Zug but a nice alternative which offers great possibilities for walks. Ägeri is worth while going, especially when Zug is foggy. It is usually above the fog.

Höllgrotten are impressive caves with chalk formations and small lakes in it. There are some impressive light installations which create a mystic atmosphere. The entrance fee (adults) is 12 CHF.

Beautiful natural site, by boat or at the promenade. It's a great place to relax with lots of restaurants or gelaterias surrounding it. Also there are animal and bird cages - fun for children.
