The Vondelpark south side neighborhood is rich and has lots of posh shops. You find them in the PC Hooftstraat, van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat and Koninginneweg.
The west side is more alternative and diverse. Main shopping streets are Eerste Constantijn Huygensstraat, Bilderdijkstraat, Kinkerstraat, Ten Cate markt and Overtoom.
