Something to consider: visiting the tall tower behind central station (you can take the ferry to cross the water). Definitely do the swing!

Pathe is the most popular chain for (blockbuster) movies in Amsterdam. The 'grote zaal' (theater 1) at Tuschinski (near Rembrandtplein) is utterly amazing and worth a visit!

Amsterdam Central Station has all the transport you need, such as trams, busses, metro, ferry and train. It will bring you everywhere in Amsterdam and around. It is located in a beautiful building, so even if you do not need the transport it is worth a visit!
