This is a great location to watch the yachts go in and out of the lagoon. It is immediately past the drawbridge in Simpson Bay (small parking lot on left). Very good appetizers, breakfast, lunch. Good drinks. Very friendly staff. Can get busy during high season.

The Greenhouse is a great touristy restaurant in Simpson Bay, behind the Atrium timeshare. Happy Hour starts at 11AM and drinks are good. Very friendly staff. Everything we've ordered in the restaurant and bar has been delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Sits on the Kim She Beach. Spend the day on the beach. Easy bus ride if you don't have a car.

Fat Tony's is a hangout for med students and locals. Food is good and reasonable. The owner, Rick, is from Colorado and serves smoked pulled pork & brisket, bison burgers, pizza, etc. There are daily specials. Frequently has music at night.

We frequent Toppers during the day or in the evening. Happy Hour 1PM-7PM. It's located in Simpson Bay on the right side of the road past the bridge. Very casual. Hang-out for locals and tourists. Try Toppers rum.

This is a fun bar with great piano music. It opens late (9 PM?)

Essentials
We usually go to Carrafour in Porto Cupecoy. However, there is a larger store on the way to Philipsburg at the roundabout. Another great grocery is Super U in Marigot past McDonald's on the French side.

Shopping
There are two Ace Hardwares, one on the way to Philipsburg and one in Cole Bay. We prefer the one in Cole Bay (across the causeway). This is my favorite store on the island. It has everything!! (Except clothes) This is where you can find Kuerig pods (about the only place on island).
