A small bar which is a base for the local mountain biking scene. Good variety of craft beers and cheap food. The home of Ginger Bear - an alcoholic ginger beer. And if the warm Kombucha, ginger beer and gin is on the board its worth a try!

Queenstown Hill Walking Track

You can walk or ride around this lovely lake - and you can get to it with only two road crossings. Go up Blackbird hill, down to the right at the top and you will see a sign for Queenstown Trail at the bottom of the hill - follow this along the bottom of the hill and then it will take you up the hill to the road. Cross over and head right - the track will head down the hill to the track that goes all the way around the lake. If riding watch out for walkers and their dogs because the track can be narrow sometimes.
