Great for dinner but also has a rooftop outdoor area that is heated with a fireplace (and they'll bring you blankets if it's chilly). They have a great gin barcart and excellent craft cocktails plus yummy tapas type apps.

Chautauqua TrailReally beautiful views and easy to moderate hiking trails.
It's an intermediate to advanced hike - about 2 hours up to the summit and down but one of the best hikes in town. Beautiful views, really good butt work-out and super fun to do with friends. Probably wouldn't recommend taking anyone under 8 as it's pretty steep up but you could just do part of it.

Mount Sanitas TrailIt's an intermediate to advanced hike - about 2 hours up to the summit and down but one of the best hikes in town. Beautiful views, really good butt work-out and super fun to do with friends. Probably wouldn't recommend taking anyone under 8 as it's pretty steep up but you could just do part of it.
Our favorite park to picnic at and let the kids wade in the creek if it's a warm day out. Bring a picnic blanket or use one of the picnic tables alongside the water. Also fun to throw a ball on the big grassy lawn.

It's touristy but there are plenty of unique, cute boutique shops along the mall. Park anywhere off of 28th downtown and just stroll along the streets lined with shops. There are street performers and food stands throughout on the weekends.
