The daddy of Glasgow museums! This bog, imposing red building is legendary. Fantastic for families. Lots of interactive, learning stuff as well beautiful art, historic stuff and stuffed animals. Free!

Food Scene
Fab Korean restaurant, serving up nice and spicy food, including hot-pots, rice dishes and lots of exotic looking that things I haven't tried yet. Always busy with Korean people - a very good sign.

Cute little cafe promoting 'a bygone era where tea and delicate china were a way of life.' It's at the end of a cobbled lane full of artists studios and music rehearsal rooms. Gorgeous in the summer.

Nice design with cosy little booths. Contemporary menu - you can always find something a little different. Smaller sized portions Booking recommended. (ladies, the loos are lovely! :)

New kid on the block and already one of my favourites! Great for breakfast/brunch. Gluten free options available. Potions are fairly small but the food is delightfully cooked and nicely presented.

Panevino is an authentic Italian place where you can a have a meal or a drink/snack at the bar. The food is delicious and the 'in and out' menu is particularly good value. Evviva!Edit

Meat eaters will be in steak heaven at the trendy Porter and Rye. Recommended for their steaks; try the Bavette at £14 including a side and a sauce. Great choice of wines and to-die-for desserts.

Love your seafood? Then you'll love the Crabshak. This is a restaurant with a great reputation for it's food and ambiance. It's always busy, which is a good sign. Booking is therefore recommended.

Piece comes highly recommended. A 'piece' is an old-fashioned Scottish word for a sandwich. This uber-cool little cafe makes the best sandwiches and salads in Finnieston. The cakes are great too. Yum!

Steps away from the apartment, this is a great place to sit outside with a beer in the summer or lounge about in one of the cosy booths inside. Cheap pub grub, an informal atmosphere and good music.

It's a gorgeous park with hills and a river running through it. I like to take some nuts and apples to feed the squirrels. The trees are spectacular certain times of the year. Be at one with nature!
