Our Cabin in the Trees

Rural location in Tappen. Our 400 sq ft one bedroom suite is equipped with a full kitchen, living space and a bathroom with a shower. Whether you are looking for a weekend escape, attending a local event, or in transit between Vancouver and Calgary, you will enjoy the peace and quiet of our surroundings. We have a second unit on the ground floor of our house called The Sunset Studio. If you are traveling with someone else and they would like their own space, check its availability calendar.

"A Suite Above" is a gateway to adventure suitable for all seasons. You can enjoy a view of Shuswap Lake on your private deck with the natural gas barbecue - you’ll never run out of gas! The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, utensils, glasses, mugs, coffee maker, kettle and other amenities that will allow you to have a meal on the deck or at the dining table in the suite. The suite is air conditioned and the living area has a cozy natural gas fireplace for those cooler days and nights.

It’s a 1 minute drive to the beach or walk in 5-10😊 St ives is a very special little oasis with clear waters and a lovely slow pace to life.

Near many parks, waterfalls and one of the most beautiful lakes to explore! Truly home away from home! Your own private studio cabin nestled amongst the surrounding trees in the quiet neighbourhood of White Lake. Rustic wood interior finish with large open windows that allow you to feel like your waking up in nature. Lay in bed and look out at the tree tops only feet away with a peak-a-boo view of the pristine nearby White Lake. Finish the day off with a soak in the hot tub! 2 sets of snowshoes with poles available for rent! $15/day/set

St. Ives Blue house

Our homey and small St.Ives cabin has a lovely view of the Shuswap Lake. It’s a 5 minute walk to the public access beach of St. Ives. The cabin offers two living rooms, a dining room, a full kitchen, a washer and dryer, wifi, three bedrooms, one a half bathrooms, and two large decks for outdoor living. Two of the bedrooms are very small. The master bedroom is a comfortable size. All the comforts of home are here, including a/c and heat.

Cosy studio cabin/ yard with easy highway access

Whether it’s your home on the way or a longer stay, you will enjoy your time here. Our little cabin has been recently fully renovated and is very clean. It is situated just 5 minute drive to Sunnybrae beach, 10 minutes to Blind Bay and Salmon Arm is just 15 minutes away. The yard shares a fence with horses, sheep and entertaining goats. We welcome well behaved dogs in the cabin, please let us know if you will be bringing one.
