The Tin Shack

"The Tin Shack" is a beautiful container-built cabin situated on a hill behind the West Coast town of St Helena Bay. The cabin overlooks the entire bay with the majestic Cederberg mountains in the distance. It has two ensuite bedrooms, each with a shower, basin, and compost toilet. The spacious open plan kitchen/living area has a cast-iron woodburner fireplace which makes the cabin warm and cozy even in winter. The spacious deck has a Weber BBQ, outdoor seating, and a woodfired hot tub.

The house has 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6)and a outside room with bathroom (the flatlet is separate from the house) and can accommodate 4 guests. Maximum 10 guests. The house is equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, linen and towels. Please bring own beach towels. Braai area and grid available. Perfect getaway for travelers, families, windsurfers, kitesurfers and boating on the lagoon.

Our rates are charged PER PERSON/per room. There is a large living area with full DSTV & a wood burning stove. Please note that you may only use wood (no charcoal ) in the stove. Pse bring your own wood. Stacking doors open onto a patio with a braai (barbeque) & gorgeous sea views - ideal for alfresco dining.
