Lovely deck with BBQ, outdoor seating. 5th house from the ocean—walk to the beach and if you need refreshments you'll be back at the cottage in 90 seconds tops. Bikes and beach chairs included. Studio cabin (approx. 13.5 x 15 ft.) Functional, basic, rustic, atmospheric—It's just a little cabin in the woods. The shack can accommodate only 2 people max. This unique home was originally built in 1921 and has since undergone renovations with additions added to the original structure, including the three bedroom / bath guest wing with a private entrance from the main house. 60’s modern/retro, award-winning (design) house. 45 secs to beach. Spacious, clean, social- well suited for groups and families (up to 10 max please, 8 is ideal). We've been doing a lot of improvements this winter! Fabulous retro mid house, open-roofed porch. BBQ, Outdoor shower, Hardwood floors, lots of light. 3 minutes from the ferry/ restaurants, but on a quiet street. Appliances and mattresses regularly replaced. Professionally cleaned weekly

Quaint Cottage on Long Island's South Shore.

The Cottage is a lovely space enclosed in hedges for privacy on a one acre property. I do have 3 dogs, they are kept in a separate gated area on the property. The cottage is located 3 miles from downtown Patchogue which is enjoying a renaissance. There are many restaurants and cultural activities as well as ferry access to Fire Island (Davis Park) in the warmer weather. We are also the "Gateway" to The Hamptons.
