The Coach House

The Coach House is located on our mountain top horse and lavender farm. We offer youth summer camps so are set up for fun outdoor adventures and activities. Have fun with our horses, goats, and chickens! You can take a 10 min walk over to Nonno's Restaurant for wine/pizza/BBQ and bacchi ball, or take an 8 min drive into Los Gatos, or 15 min to Santa Cruz for the beach and some of the best restaurants and spas around!. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, kids, & behaved dogs!

We are the descendants of an old San Mateo County pioneer family. We have been passed down and live on a 40 acre redwood forest, backed by 1000 acres of parkland. We would like to share our forest with you. Take a walk and learn of the history behind La Honda's Woodwardia Lodge built in 1913. The cottage has a private bathroom with shower (no tub), a kitchenette with microwave, and the most comfortable queen bed. Close to Oakland Coliseum, BART, SF, Oakland Airport, and ferry to SF. Great access to Bay Farm Trail and just a short walk to restaurants and shopping. ** Please note that the bed is against the wall, so if you are a group of two, one person will be against the wall.

This place is great for solo adventurers, business travelers, couples and small families, too. You may hear the pitter patter of children upstairs from time to time, but never at night. We are a very friendly family and look forward to hosting you!
