The cottage stands in the grounds of the country house and has a private courtyard with a hot tub. It benefits from beautiful views in a peaceful village location, ideally located for Malton, York and surrounding areas. Sleeping up to 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children, this cottage has everything you need for a memorable experience.To the side is Morgan Cottage that can sleep unto 6 adults.

Be greeted at the gate by our 5 rescued pigs before enjoying the king bedroom, large shower, kitchen, and cozy living area with a sofa bed and TV. High-speed internet keeps you connected, while your private oasis outside features a hot tub, BBQ, and dining area. Perfect for relaxation or a unique retreat surrounded by nature and rescued animals.

The Owlery at Mill Farm

Recently converted, the Owlery is the perfect self-catered rural escape for couples. With its double height vaulted ceiling and full height double aspect windows the open plan kitchen living diner offers a light and airy space to unwind and enjoy the view of surrounding fields. The bedroom has a Kingsize bed, Egyptian cotton sheets and En-Suite shower room. The Bathroom offers complimentary Bramley products and cotton bathrobes. Both areas are underfloor heated. There is a private garden.

"The Sty" offers a cosy, but spacious barn with original beams, underfloor heating, a 3 seater hot tub and countryside views. Special touches make your stay a little different to elsewhere...a king size bed with luxurious bedding, robes and slippers, Netflix and Nespresso, the option to have a bath and shower to name a few. Following a day seeing the sites of York, a daytrip for some sea air, or exploring our beautiful towns and countryside, guests will look forward to retreating to the Sty.

The Garden Room

Two renovated old buildings have been converted into a quiet, one bedroom, self contained Garden room. In the centre of Slingsby village, you are well placed to explore the beautiful surrounding areas of Yorkshire. A modern kitchen with fridge, microwave and cooker is equipped for preparing delicious meals. A wall mounted television with Netflix is available. The sleeping area hosts a double bed with wall hanging for clothes, adjacent to which is a bright shower room with heated towel rail.

The Nest with Luxury Hot Tub

We are proud to list our second property, 'The Nest’. A brick built detached cottage with rustic modern farmhouse design a comfortable home from home experience, ideal for romantic getaways. Our luxury accommodation features cosy open plan lounge/dining area with feature brick walls with French doors leading to a private walled patio area with luxury state of the art 6-seater hot tub for your sole use, fully fitted kitchen, luxurious bathroom, elegant, panelled bedroom with king sized bed.

The Perch is a special place - in a peaceful village in the beautiful Derwent Valley, it is a 'one of a kind' cottage which has been designed with care to offer discerning guests a unique place to unwind and relax. Visitors to this corner of North Yorkshire can expect unspoilt landscapes close to Malton, the 'food capital of the north' but off the beaten tourist path. Enjoy a fabulous walk right outside the door, and come home to a cosy log fire - perfect for both dogs and their humans!

York Poetree House, tiny treehouse home for one

Reconnect and wake up into nature at this unforgettable escape. Secluded treehouse with everything you need to soothe and inspire. Self cater, arrange meals provided by your host (a professional chef), or try one of the many eateries in town. Shops nearby. Your own private bathroom is situated a few yards away in the main house. You also can enjoy our beautiful garden, lily pond and friendly cat, Nina. Your hosts are always on hand to ensure a comfortable and nourishing experience.

The Pigsty- Haxby Road Farm

The Pigsty was part of Haxby Road Farm buildings which were renovated in 2022 / 2023 to create a rustic holiday cottage. The cottage is; 2 .5 miles to York city center, close to bridle paths and footpaths (200m). There is a bus stop approx 400m from the cottage which goes directly to York. Walking distance to pubs, restaurants and shops. 5 minutes drive to 2 cinemas, leisure parks and retail units. This is the perfect location to explore York, the local area or enjoy a night out.

Stunning rural shepherds hut

Located in the stunning Howardian Hills, this is a peaceful and romantic location. A perfect all year round escape. You park your car and the hut is a 5 minute walk from our house- make sure you pack suitable footwear. We can transport your luggage to the hut. The hut has cooking facilities (oven and a hob), there is also a fire pit for barbecues and a picnic table for outdoor dining. You have exclusive use of a hot tub which is right next to the hut.
