Fishing, tubing, hiking, whitewater, horseback riding you name it, this area has it. You can catch your limit of Rainbow or Browns without starting your car. Hike to waterfalls or do a stretch of the Appalachian Trail.

Our location is also a great spot for hiking, biking and water activities as we are near Fontana lake & NOC. Also a great spot for nature enthusiasts as you can sit on the porch and see lots of wild birds and the ducks in the stream right across the road. On occasion you may see other species of wildlife.

Snowbird Creek Cabin, Flyfish, Tail of the Dragon

Our Snowbird Creek Cabin is cool and relaxing. It is just minutes from “Tail of the Dragon”. It is a fly fisherman’s paradise also. Hiking trails and waterfalls abound, or just kick back and relax in the pristine setting of the Snowbird Back Country. We will allow one dog 25 pounds or under to come. No exceptions for bigger dogs. I will request a picture of the dod. The dog will not be allowed on furniture. I live next door, so i will know if my rules are not obeyed.

The Willow is a slice of paradise on the Valley River. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful riverfront property. Large green space for cornhole, tossing the football, and general merriment. Splash, swim or just float around in the river. Take a nap on the the waterfront deck to the sounds of the river and birds. Enjoy some time in downtown shops, restaurants, and breweries as well. World class whitewater rafting on the Ocoee and Nantahala are just minutes away.

The Junction- in backwoods on brook trout stream

Are the backwoods calling? Travel on uneven gravel & dirt to arrive at this tiny home and unique setting. 400 sq ft cabin overlooks 2 trout creeks plus a mountain ridge view! No WiFi-enjoy reconnecting with each other! 2 mi from paved road w/shallow potholes & rocks. 5" clearance (not 4WD) needed. NOT suitable for motorcycles. Venomous snakes and wild animals are indigenous to our area. Use ONLY our directions and you'll enjoy the adventure getting here!

Cozy vintage cabin on beautiful Lake Santeetlah. Enjoy the water views from the screened in porch, dip your feet in the clear lake on the private dock, or take a kayak out to explore the coastline. In cooler weather, snuggle up by the fire with a good book. Lake Santeetlah is nestled in the mountains of NC, and 80% of the coastline is national forest. This is a beautiful, brand new log cabin. It is the perfect spot for a honeymoon or a romantic couple's retreat yet spacious enough to bring along 2 kids for a fun family getaway. This cabin sits tucked away right on the rushing creek.  While the cabin itself is gorgeous, the outdoor area is it's own little paradise.  With a fire pit by the creek, a spacious covered deck overlooking the water, porch rockers, and hot tub.
