Experience the joy of staying in an off grid solar powered house. This modern light filled 2 bedroom house with open plan living area offers spectacular ever changing views down the valley and across the sea to Kangaroo Island. The house stands alone on 2.5 acres. Secluded and private country property with 'walled' secret garden, olive grove, orchard, native and exotic trees. Generous living area with polished wooden floors throughout, a cook's kitchen and floor to ceiling glass doors. The main bedroom opens onto the deck and the garden beyond or the stars above. Enjoy the hot water outdoor shower under the sun or stars. (yes, we do also have an indoor shower) Watch the wildlife - native birds, kangaroos and the occasional echidna through the floor to ceiling picture window. There is also a resident family of hares. Telstra & Optus get good reception but may depend on your phone's antenna quality. 90 mins south of Adelaide GPO 5 mins to Deep Creek Conservation Park + 10 mins 4WD drive to Blowhole Beach Experience the scenic walk (or the 4wd road) to the surf and popular fishing spot at Blowhole Beach. 10 mins from Cape Jervis and Sealink ferry to Kangaroo Island. A short drive to Morgans Beach at Cape Jervis, Second Valley and Rapid Bay beaches. Discover the varied walks within Deep Creek Conservation Park with its stunning coastal scenery, or explore beyond to Tunkalilla, Waitpinga and Parsons Beaches along Range Rd to Victor Harbor. Visit the beautiful Raywood Nursery growing and selling exotic and native plants 5mins away on Tappanappa Rd, with a 1000yr old Grass tree in the carpark growing near the carpark. Closed Tuesday & Wednesdays. We have a dam on the property, which may or may not have water, so parents with young children will need to supervise them at all times.

We've designed the beachpad of our dreams! Little Norma is colourful, cosy, cute, and comfortable. Little Norma is a 1980s 2 bedroom unit, located close to spectacular Normanville Beach foreshore, with shops, pub and cafes a short walk away. Stunning new bathroom with bath and separate shower. Hot outdoor shower - perfect after a day at the beach. Super comfortable beds and linen sheets. Gorgeous functional kitchen with everything you'll need. A beautiful place to chill for a while.

Deep Creek Tiny House is located on the traditional land of the Kaurna/Ngarrindjeri people, adjacent to the stunning Deep Creek National Park, on the southern-most tip of the Fleurieu Peninsula.

Tangerine Dream -70's beach shack & nature retreat

Please note: due to a bushfire in February 2026, part of the bushland on the property is damaged and may not appear as shown as it regrows. A restored 70’s beach shack perched on the edge of Deep Creek National Park. Designed to maximise its natural surroundings: relax in the hammock, cook over coals in the fire pit, sleep deeply in cozy French-linen beds, or bathe beneath the night sky. Endless possibilities await—but you won’t want to wake from your own Tangerine Dream.

Duckcottage: quaint stone cottage

Duckcottage is a five room stone settlers cottage built in 1853 on five acres of bushland at Second Valley. The property is now a refuge for wildlife so it is NOT suitable for dogs or cats. We call it 'duck' cottage because of the height of the doorways. It has been lovingly restored, and the habitat for birds and native animals has been established through revegetation. The property is secluded (there are no neighbours in sight) but it is a short drive to the beach.

Relax in your own private outdoor area, walk in our mini forest, be mesmerised by our abundant wildlife, and maybe catch a glimpse of the stunning wedge tail eagle during your stay. Imagine gazing at the stars through our spectacular skylight, all while you are lying in bed. Our beautiful tiny house is available all year around, and includes breakfast provisions.

The Valley Shack - Walk to Second Valley Beach

The Valley Shack is a modern revival of the iconic Australian beach shacks of the 60s and 70s. Just a short 5 minute stroll to the rugged beauty of Second Valley beach.
