Yeonlige (Pronounced Yeon-lee-jee) is a Korean name for trees with two separate roots that curl together to become one. We infused the beauty of the East and the West into this house. Yeonlige is a Choga-jip, a style of Hanok, traditional Korean house. We use authentic Korean papers, Changho, for walls and Ja-gae, beautiful Korean shell, for furniture, made by the best traditional mother-of-pearl Craftsmaster, Lee Young-ok. Behind the village is Gunsan, the largest defunct volcano in Jeju, which is perfect for hiking. There is also Nonjitmool, a natural seawater pool nearby, which is a perfect place for families with children to play.
