Casa do Rio Alva is a very special place with private access to the river! Our country house is located in the village of Secarias in the heart of the nature of central Portugal, 4 km from the village of Arganil and 55 km from the city of Coimbra. Exploring the Alva River from our home is a unique experience, where the following stand out: avocets, bees, kingfishers, crows, swallows, foxes, field mice, frogs, toads and snakes, numerous fish such as bass, bogas and carp, but also trout and eels.

It is part of the main farmhouse, Casa de Alagoa, with a separate entrance and private garden. there are 2 bedrooms, shower room, living room with large open fire and kitchen. The garden has a table and chairs, sun loungers and a BBQ with views across the apple orchards to the mountains. A great place to relax and unwind and a good starting point for exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside!

Consisting of a spacious room, with fire-stove, kitchenette and 2 single beds, a large double bedroom with a baby cot, with an overhead mezzanine, with 1 double bed, and one full toilet, plus an outside toilet, "Casa do Lagar" comfortably accommodates 2 adults and 4 to 2 teenagers/children. 1 extra travel cot can be added for a baby.
