An idyllic countryside retreat in an old Montenegro peasant stone house, facing a vineyard, surrounded by pomegranates and fig trees, and with a great view on the mountains. This is a perfect hideaway from city hustle and traffic noise. As a mountaineering guide and former diplomat, I will be happy to welcome visitors from all corners of our world, share memories of my old family house and history of Montenegro, assist them in planning and organizing their tours in our beautiful country.

Salty Village

Our Salty Cabin lies in the village of Zoganje (Zogaj), surrounded by an olive grove counting over three hundred trees. Located nearby are Salina salt pans, a salt factory-turned-bird park where both silence and sounds of nature such as birds chirp and frog “ribbit” can be experienced and enjoyed. Location is perfect for enjoying birdwatching and getting to know around half of the European bird species. Out of 500 species, around 250 can be seen flying over, or around, the Salty Cabin.

Mariash Woodhouse | Sauna | Stargazing Glasshouse

Mariash Woodhouse is a cozy retreat at 2,000m, ideal for nature lovers, families, and couples. It features a private glasshouse for stargazing, a sauna, kids’ playground, and an outdoor grill. Located in the beautiful Beleg mountains with hiking trails leading to Mariash Peak—one of the highest points in Kosovo. Reachable by regular car (except in winter); the road is partially unpaved but in excellent condition. Enjoy peace, fresh air, and breathtaking views.

This holiday cabin features are the comfortable place, fireplace and jacuzzi. Featuring a private entrance, this air-conditioned apartment consists of 1 living room, 1 bedroom, and 1 bathroom with a shower and a bidet. The apartment also offers a barbecue. Boasting a terrace with garden views, this apartment also provides soundproof walls and a flat-screen TV with streaming services. The cabin offers 2 bed and 2 sofas in living room.
