CASA MAYA - BEAUTIFUL STONE HOUSE

Casa Maya is located at Penedo do Lexim just 30 minutes away from Lisbon and 10km from some of the most beautiful beaches in the region. This place is situated half way down the hill from ancient and extint volcanic chimneys, where one can find basaltic outcrops e limestone areas. There is also archaeological evidence at the site which indicates it was inhabited during the Neolithic, Calco Lithic and the Bronze Age. The original flora, as well as its diverse fauna, includes unique species such as the royal-eagle, the barn owl and the fox. Sheltered from the north winds, this place has its own special micro-climate which makes it an oasis of nature, where the visitor is led to align with the energy of the earth. This place consists of a small cluster of stone houses, recovered from pre-existent ruins, with the stones used many times by our ancestors and keepers of this site. The houses are shaped in a traditional manner, with some personal touches and changes which make them more luminous and functional, yet still integrated in the surroundings. In front of the houses, there are beautiful gardens in terraces with leafy trees, ornamental plants and small biological agriculture crops. The interior decoration of the houses one can see a harmonious fusion of several cultures, making its interior comfortable and unique. Conceived as a place for resting, where the visitor has the opportunity to live an experience different from the usual routine, we provide comfortable accomodation as well as a healthy diet. To occupy your leisure time, the guest may choose from a variety of playshops, sighstseeing walks and several other activities.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Our 2 tiny houses are in the midst of agricultural landscapes on a horse farm 400 meters from one of the best surf beaches around. The container unit is private only for you. Its entrance is via the the subroom. This sunroom, as well as laundry space, garden and backoffice / storage space is shared with the other unit (2pax) Our local community also offers a small local beach bar, a pizza place and a micro brewery & hamburger restaurant.

A Casa da Lagartinha is a charming cottage with a private garden bordering the forest that covers the Sintra mountains. The cottage has a bedroom that sleeps three people, a bathroom and a kitchen. The bungalow is fully equipped with wi-fi, stove, toaster, washing machine, coffee machine, hair dryer and a loudspeaker. The space is ideal for a couple, a group of friends or a small family.

Sea Nest near Sintra

This House is situated just 50 Mts from the sea in a 40.000 m2 area, 360' view, in an excellent fishing point called "ponta do caneiro " . It is also surronded by wild beaches and the Magoito beach. It was built in 1940 and was recently totally restored. An electric car or a 9 seat Van is available for rental by request, with excellent conditions, pick up in Sintra or at the airport.

The place is located in a very quiet area, in the middle of the forest, away from the hustle and bustle of tourism and big cities. It is a T0 wooden house, with kitchenett and private bathroom, located 5 km from Sintra with fabulous views of the mountains and all its palaces.
