Warm and cosy private cottage in Varmahlíð - Hestasport Cottages

With magnificent views overlooking the vast plains and distant mountains of the Skagafjörður valley, our charming timber cottages are the ideal place to spend your days off all year round. Experience the serenity of Northern Iceland and fill your days with the endless possibilities for adventure that Skagafjörður has to offer. Our cottages are nestled together up on the hill only a short walking distance from the centre of Varmahlíð. In town, you will find all the services you need: tourist information, grocery shop, restaurant, petrol station, ATM, swimming pool, and more. From the natural hot tub at the center of the well-maintained cottage site, you can enjoy the golden light of the midnight sun or watch the northern lights. You will stay in one of our four studio-style 2-person cottages. They range from 30 to 36  square meters in size and feature different decoration. You can choose to have one large double bed or two single beds in your cottage. Please state at the time of booking which one you require.

Mountain Cottage - indoor hot tub

The Cottage is located in the bottom of fjord Ólafsfjörður, in the mountains. It has two bedrooms, a living room and a private geothermal hot tub in a garden-in-house area, that can be opened up to the terrace. The cottage is well equipped (fully equipped kitchen & washing machine) has WIFI for guests to use, and quality mattresses made up with comfortable linen, soft towels and warm blankets. The area is extremely peaceful. In the backyard is a heated football court and a playground for kids.

Beautiful private house by the Fjord with Hot Tub

Situated on the beautiful, peaceful island of Hrísey in the middle of Eyjaförður. The house sits on the water's edge with stunning views of the fjord and mountains where you can sometimes watch the whales and dolphins. PLEASE NOTICE: The island is located in the northern part of Iceland. It is a five-hour drive from Reykjavik. And you need to take a ferry to get there. No cars, pedestrians only. The ferry departs from the fishing port of Árskógssandur every two hours and only takes 15 mins.

Family paradise in the country

A beautiful house in the countryside located just 2km outside of the small town of Ólafsfjörður. Ideal for families to relax and enjoy the nature. In the summertime there is access to a lake and a lot of beautiful walking trails and hikes in the surrounding mountains. In the wintertime this is an absolute paradise for skiing and all kinds of winter sports and activities. On the property is a small forest, a lot of birdlife and it feels like you are million miles away from the nearest town.

Heidarbaer - Log House.

Family Log House in the rural North Iceland. Located in Skagafjordur in North of Iceland. Complete privacy with only farms in the vicinity. Wake up in silence with occasional bird songs and possibly lamb bleating . The cabin is a newly, well heated with WIFI connection. The kitchenette has a fridge, washing machine, coffee machine, small stove and an Air fryer. The bunker bed can sleep 3 children (2 young ones below and a bigger one or an adult above). Bed linen and towels on site

Í húsinu eru 2 svefnherbergi; annað með hjónarúmi og hitt með koju, rúmar 2-3. Auk þess er svefnloft fyrir 4. Samliggjandi stofa og eldhús; sjónvarp, Wifi, uppþvottavél og allur eldhúsbúnaður. Úr stofu er gengið út á svalir til austurs og verönd til suðurs. Á baðherbergi er sturta og þaðan er útgegnt á verönd með heitum potti. Einnig er þar góð sólbaðsaðstaða og gasgrill. Hægt er að fá barnastól og barnarúm. Hundar eru velkomnir. Stutt er í alla helstu þjónustu, 3 km á Sauðárkrók.

Lítið fallegt og fullbúið hús með öllum þægindum. Okkar auka heimili á besta stað á Siglufirði. Vel uppgert og nostrað við hvern hlut. Húsið er á þrem hæðum, tvö herbergi í risi, á miðhæð er stofa, eldhús og wc með sturtu, í kjallara eru tvö svefnherbergi, wc með sturtu, þvottahús og skíða/útifata geymsla. Húsið hefur viðurnefnið Skógarahúsið. Húsið hentar vel 6-8 manns ef tveir sofa saman í tvíbreiðu rúmunum

The oldest, cutest and smallest house in town..

Sæbali, the oldest house in Olafsfjördur, was built in 1895. Olafsfjördur is a calm and remote fishing village in the north of Iceland. The little house was fully and carefully renovated in 2019, preserving the old characteristics and charms of typical icelandic houses. This place will make your stay up north very special and you will feel home the moment you enter the door.

Skíðasvæðið í Tindastóli er í um 20 mín akstursfjarlægð. Hentar vel fyrir fjölskyldur og hundar eru velkomnir.
