The Cabin at Painted Canyon Homestead This serene cabin is situated at the mouth of a canyon overlooking Morongo Valley, where the high desert meets the San Gorgonio & San Jacinto Mountains. As the guest house on our property of 5 acres, the cabin is privately located bordering vast public lands. Wander the property, hike the canyon trail, or take in the changing light from the wood-fired hot tub (or use it with fresh cold water!). Perfectly suited for two with plenty of extra space to explore.

We designed & created this relaxing space for ourselves so it isn’t a typical airbnb. :) Feel like you're a million miles a way in this secluded retreat while still having quick access to everything in the area: Just 10 minutes to the dining and shopping in Yucca Valley or Joshua Tree. And only 15 minutes to the main Joshua Tree Park entrance or Pioneertown.⚡️ Pets Welcome!

We encourage you to bring air mattress and extra blankets and pillows as needed.

Our TINY is capsule-size with (literally) the basics! There's a full size memory foam bed, Wifi, Smart-TV, Heat/AC. Listed for 1 person, but ask us about TWO peeps. Step outside of the TINY and enjoy the amenities of our entire mid-century modern home (kitchen, stove, two-fridges) and start conversations with other other Airbnb peeps. We are kind of like a hostel /communal environment. TINY shares bathrooms with other GLAMPERs on the property. TINY is private.
