‘Banyandah’ is an Aboriginal word meaning ‘home on the water’. This renovated, family orientated home is one street back from the Stanley River for swimming or kayaking and the boat ramp is only 3 minutes away. The home is walking distance to Coronation Hall and the local tennis court. It offers accommodation in a quiet and exclusive pocket of Somerset Village. The home is equipped with all the comforts you would expect including open plan living, 2 bedrooms, bathroom, laundry and 2 toilets.

Our 2 bedroom cottage is set on our 200 hectare stud cattle property. Our home is 50m away. The cottage is low set and has soul soothing mountain views of the Brisbane Valley. Situated 3 km from Toogoolawah and the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. A peaceful setting to enjoy a country break. Enjoy stunning sunsets & sunrises from our viewing area. Cattle & horses graze peacefully nearby. We are close to the Ramblers Skydiving Centre, Watts Bridge Airfield and a short drive to the Somerset Dam.

Abundant with wildlife, deer, wallabies, hawks and eagles are some that you may see during your stay at Lakeview. The moon over the lake is amazing to see. Only 5 minutes to Kirkleagh boat ramp, 8 minutes to the spit, and 10 minutes to Kilcoy make this property ideal for a tranquil Lake holiday break.

Off-the grid Country Retreat

De-stress, relax and recharge your batteries. Just a 2hr drive from Brisbane. We're off the grid with solar power and rain water tanks. Dog friendly with fully fenced 5 acres for your dog to explore. We have 4 dogs on the property, and they love meeting our guests. There is no separate fence around the cottage. We live in the main house but screening provides privacy. Collect your fresh eggs every morning, and any seasonal herbs, fruit or vegetables. Indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit.

Cookes Road Cottage at Conondale

Located in the upper Mary River Valley in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Cookes Road Cottage is the ideal destination to base your country getaway. Sited high on the end of a ridge overlooking a 5-acre dam, the 120-year-old workers cottage has 360-degree views of quality farming country with the Conondale Ranges in the background. The property itself is 325 acres of creek flats and gently rolling green hills, being the home of the breeding herd for the Waringle Droughtmaster Stud.

The Outlook at Kenilworth

The Outlook at Kenilworth is located on the edge of the main town, in walking distance from Elizabeth Street. The house is air-conditioned, well presented and sits at the top of a maintained, two acre block. Sweeping views of the Conondale ranges can be enjoyed from the large deck. You have the entire property to yourself with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. There is one main bedroom with a queen bed and a sofa bed in the lounge room that can be made up on request.

Settle in on the deck to enjoy the platypus, turtles, echidna, many fish & birds in their natural habitat. Dine in at one of our sensational cafes or the Railway Hotel (just across the road) or prepare your own in our fully equipped kitchen with BBQ on the deck. You have found the perfect place to turn up & switch off.

Located in the heart of the Mary valley, our ‘country cottage in Imbil’ is favoured with tranquil surroundings and a calm country atmosphere. Ideal to take a break from routine, unwind and recharge. The dwelling is 1.7 km from picturesque Imbil and 10 km from the well-known Borumba Lake where opportunities for boating, fishing, 4WD are endless. This 5-acre property is replenished with diverse vegetation and landscapes.
