It is called the river home because my house is right on the bank of the river. Its my home and the river, nothing in-between. A perfect place to cleanse and unwind. The home has a mandir. Along with the flower garden, there is a kitchen garden and we grow seasonal vegetables. Soft archery, carrom., dart board available. The place has a hammock and fishing rod for angling. The river and the sky has its own beauty. Looks spectacular in different seasons. A perfect retreat.

Walking distance from Salt Lake's central business district Karunamoyee. The metro station is a five minute walk from our place. Bright, air-cooled room with private balcony. Named after Nandalal Bose, leading figure of the Bengal School of Art. The room is dominated by a large, custom-made illustration drawn by Bose for Tagore's Sahaj Paath. Bose's lines are testament to his mastery over form. Desk and chair + wardrobe +mirror + bedside table. The bathrooms are ensuite.
