Chambls Shack

Chambls Shack provides wanderers with a slow stay, overlooking the sandy beach at Verona Sands. Chambls is a genuine shack experience, complete with 1970’s kitchen, open fireplace and light shades. Plenty of wobbly bits and sloping floors, but we’re watertight, warm and a whole load of fun. Situated 1 hour from Hobart via Huon or Channel, Chambls welcomes travellers who want to truly relax and revisit the 70’s in luxe linens, open fire and a bottle of red. Or bring the kids and hit the beach.

Bruny Island Hideaway

Only if I can show you how to be happy with little. It is simple and minimalistic, it is green and sustainable, it is so wild that you feel a million miles away from civilisation. Surrounded by 99 acres of conservation forest, you will find abundant wildlife. You can hear the birds during the day and wallabies at night. Eagles soar in the sky. Unwind on the expansive deck furnished with bean bags, outdoor dining settings, a gas BBQ, and a custom-built woodfired oven. Inside, cozy up by the warm pellet fire, cook in the fully equipped kitchen, and savor the views. The bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower, heated floor tiles, a handmade timber vanity, and a concrete hand basin. Come and experience ultimate relaxation at Baywatch Bruny Island!

Luxury yurt glamping at Littlegrove

Nestled in an olive grove with views over Bruny Island’s famous Fluted Cape, our yurts offer the ultimate romantic glamping experience, with private bathroom and cooking facilities and an outdoor bath and fire pit for star gazing. Each yurt is furnished with vintage wares collected from all over the world, an internal wood fire, timber floors, and wool lined walls for cosy nights. Double glazed windows look out over the grove and surrounding forest which wraps 360 degrees around our farm.

Aalto Cottage is a self contained studio cottage situated in Lunawanna on Daniels Bay. This is the quiet, private area of Bruny Island but close to many walks and attractions on the Island. The cottage is near the family home but has many trees and shrubs to provide privacy for guests. We will only interact if you require some help. We are inclusive hosts and welcome people from all walks of life

The Bruny Boathouse offers sweeping views across the d’Entrecasteaux Channel to Satellite Island and Hartz Mountain. Centrally located in Alonnah, it’s the perfect base for exploring Bruny’s wild beauty. Aerie Retreat

AERIE retreat. A private designer apartment in the bush by the water. Walk down to the very private Wilderness Deck for exclusive use of the Timber Hot Tub, Sauna and fire pit. Access to the waterfront marine reserve is also exclusively available for our guests. A brilliant spot to stay summer or winter. Watch the winter full moon rise over the ocean from the hot tub and sauna.

From The Joneses, a mid century style home originally built by Mr L Jones and reimagined in 2023 to become a luxurious escape for couples or solo travellers, you will have uninterrupted views of the azure waters of Adventure Bay and across to Penguin Island and Fluted Cape.
