The Bakehouse - character - history - convenience

The bake house is a unique historical building circa 1880 that has been converted into contemporary accomodation. It is part of a precinct of three buildings, all relating the same function of supporting "Watson's" Bakery in the shop facing Macquarie street (now a funky homewares shop). You get to enjoy a three bedroom house. Three bedrooms upstairs with a bathroom and toilet, living kitchen, dining and laundry downstairs. You have your own private courtyard with a picnic setting.

The Scientist's Residence

The perfect base for a visit to Hobart, situated amongst the cafes and shops of picturesque South Hobart, and steps to the glorious Rivulet Track. A 15-minute walk to town (25 mins to Salamanca), or 5-minute drive. This is a beautiful, newly renovated private flat with plenty to inspire your inner scientist. Close by shops, cafes, restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, beaches, parks and public transport are at the end of the street. This is a wonderful base to explore Hobart and beyond.

Located only 10 minutes from Kingston, less than 5 minutes to the motorway that leads to either The Huon Valley or back to Kingston and Hobart. A great base to explore Southern Tasmania.

It is a beautiful place to have a drink or dinner and take Hobart in. The apartment has a North facing deck, so you can enjoy an afternoon drink in the sun.
