The Stables - Tunstead Cottages Enjoy the peace of the Norfolk countryside. Our rural, dog friendly cottage on the outskirts of Tunstead. Close to the Norfolk Broads and the coast, yet only 30 minutes from the city of Norwich. The Stables is on an old farm on the outskirts of Tunstead village. In a peaceful part of rural Norfolk with views of the big Norfolk skies, farmland and fruit fields. Cottages have a pool but its on private hire and booking is separate also has a shared games room.

We are ideally located for access to Lavenham, Snetterton and Euston Hall, as well as the Peddars' and Icknield Ways. The Mill dates from around 1850 and is an extension of our home. Outside there is a BBQ with room to sit and chat. Relax in the hot tub with a glass. Plenty of room at our massive table for Sunday lunch inside. Long sandy beach (4 min walk away). Excellent for dogs too. The house sleeps 11 plus 2 babies (I supply 2 travel cots, 2 high chairs and stair gates). You’ll have 5 large bedrooms, kitchen, breakfast room,sitting/dining room, garden, hot tub, own parking. Restaurants, pubs nearby. NB - 3 showers, bath and 3 toilets are all on the first floor.

A night at the museum.

A unique space in a detached timber building arranged as a "Cabinet of Curiosities" (BEWARE Some are quite scary). The space is heated by a wood burner. There is a sleeping loft with double mattress, It has WIFI. pool, sauna and hot tub. An adjacent building contains a shower room/toilet and small kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. Swallow's Nest is a secluded self-contained 2 bedroom stable conversion in the grounds of Painswhin Farm, with its own garden and entrance. It has been newly renovated and offers luxury accommodation for up to four people with a shower room, stylish kitchen and dining area and use of a private heated outdoor pool and tennis court. Please note the pool is only open and heated from May to the end of September.

You'll find a mini-supermarket, Fish & Chip shop, bars, evening entertainment including live performances, bingo, an amusement arcade, mini-golf, and more. Free WiFi, bed linen, towels, and Taylor of London toiletries are provided.

Great location situated on the Broads, nice walk to Carlton marshes nature reserve with cafe and bird watching. Excellent for dog walking, power boat racing on Thursday evenings in summer, beaches close by, swimming pool and restaurant/bar selling delicious food on site, further restaurants and bars close by, two railway station within easy reach, free parking next to chalet
