The Red Train Carriage

The Red Train Carriage is a special place to stay next to the train tracks of The Swanage Railway. We believe it was built in about 1858 for GER as a 2nd class passenger carriage. It was just a shell when we got it, with it's original walls, doors, ceiling and floor, but the seating had been removed. There was only a few clues about its history in some of the doors and windows. We have saved as much of the original carriage as possible whilst making it a comfortable place to stay for a week.

A really exciting AND DIFFERENT holiday experience with outside space for barbecuing and play. Perfect for FAMILY celebrations, children AND dogs AND close to the EDEN PROJECT

1960s Railway Carriage in a country station

Travel in time and reconnect with nature at this unforgettable train carriage set in an old country railway station in rural Herefordshire, UK. True to the decade of when the carriage was built, it is comfortably furnished with mid-century pieces, 1960’s styled sofas, and with all modern facilities. The 'Saloon Coach' sits amidst the original railway embankments and with a stone bridge as a backdrop. Lined with trees and ferns, the green platform is frequently carpeted with wildflowers.

Railway Wagon - Broadmeadow Farm

The Railway Wagon is our brand new glamping accommodation at the farm. Hand built by Adrian and finished in March 2023. It offers beautiful views of the sunrise and open fields and distant hills. It has electricity and it's own shower room in a little outdoor hut which makes it the most luxurious of our units. This is our favourite site for couples staying due to the beautiful country view, sunrises, electric lighting and patio area for lounging and enjoying the peace and quiet.

Nestled into our working farm, this lovingly restored railway carriage is the perfect spot for a romantic stay away. The views are out of this world and all viewable from the large glass doors so you can stay tucked up in bed or on the sofa in front of the fire, with great wifi, free access to our beautiful heated pool and sauna in the pool house, beautiful walks both from the carriage or a short drive to the coast path, pub lunches, sunsets, fairy lights and romantic outdoor bath.

Millpool - A Victorian carriage perfect for all

Millpool is airy and light. A characterful carriage perfect for singles or couples. Stunning views in a great village location. Millpool is designed to be fully accessible, but you don't have to be in a wheelchair to enjoy Millpool, it is perfect for everyone. Although we don't offer breakfast, our usual welcome pack will be provided, which includes a starter pack of milk, tea, coffee, local apple juice and biscuits. Spring Farm’s authentic railway carriage is set in a secluded orchard with stunning panoramic views down the whole length of the Bryn Awr valley to the Brecon Beacons.
