Cocoya is a working coconut and cinnamon plantation. Palamu sits on a small hill overlooking our coconut groves. It's designed as an extension of the plantation. A thatched roof, mud walls, tall coconut pillars. 2 bedrooms flank the living area & open kitchen & are fitted with king size beds & ensuite bathroom. Open air rain-showers are an experience in themselves esp. at dusk with a brilliant sunset, swaying coco trees and cool running water after a hot day. We do not have air-conditioning.

Our guests gets convenient pickup and drop-off services for Minneriya safari and hot air balloon rides directly from your cottage. Our kayaks are free to use in the lake(s). Local village walking trails and climbing the rock in front of us also can be arranged.
