Cottage is located in Hobart NY, the bookstore capitol of NY. 25 min to Plattekill Mountain ski resort, Belleayre Mountain Ski Center.

You'll be staying in a cabin with 2 beds, Queen & Full, fold out couch, a kitchen, Wi-Fi, fire pit, & charcoal grill. Games to play both inside & outside provided. 4 ski resorts 16-32 min away such as Plattekill, Belleayre, Hunter, Windham Mountains. Nearby: Scenic Railcar rides, Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame, Howe Caverns, hiking, kayaking, biking & waterfalls. Restaurants in driving distance.

The Waterfall Casita: A-frame with 30ft Waterfall

Nestled among Hemlock trees & steps from a 30 ft waterfall is our cozy A-frame cabin. Sitting on 33 private acres connected to state land, enjoy waterfall views while sipping coffee in front of the fireplace. The casita was intentionally designed to feel like a home away from home. In summer, cool off in the waterfalls & private streams, in autumn take in the stunning foliage & in winter ski/snowboard at Belleayre (25 mins away). Alder Lake & the Pepacton Reservoir fishing are a 10 min drive.

Renovated 1800s Schoolhouse: Private, Scenic Stay

Wake up as natural light finds its way into the home and enjoy relaxing to the sounds and sites of nature. By day, enjoy the views from a 1500 square foot wrap-around deck and explore the adorable nearby towns of Bovina, Andes, Delhi and more. There are 140 acres to explore and utilize for events like weddings or a retreats. There is a half acre pond with a pond house at the top of the property and a trout stream running along the bottom. There is a kitchenette with a mini-fridge/stovetop and oven so you can prepare meals, a queen-size bed, a couch with storage, and a bathroom with a shower. Ideal for a couple or solo traveler looking to disconnect and observe nature at work from the large windows. There is a fire pit and Adirondack chairs on the patio if it's not too cold out!

Half Moon: Fairytale Catskills Retreat

Enjoy nature in style at this fairytale in the forest. This idyllic escape combines whimsical structures, curated gathering spaces and a private wooded hillside surrounded by hiking trails and quaint towns. Disclaimer: This is a rustic cabin. Heating is from a wood-burning stove, there is no AC. The bath house is a separate structure from the cabin, up a hillside with stone steps. Cooking is via charcoal grills, small outdoor kitchenette or fire.
