Hillrise Cottage is a peaceful and picturesque property on a hill above the gum trees with spectacular views of the Grampians to the west. 15 km from Ararat and 30 km from Halls Gap, Hillrise Cottage is a great base for exploring the beautiful Grampians region, (30mins away), taking in the local wineries or just relaxing. Chill out in this unique home, stroll around the 6 acre property and check out the large dam, beautiful trees and abundant wildlife. Hillrise is 2.5 hours west of Melbourne.

Kuranda is located two blocks from the CBD, short stroll to restaurants, cafe's, shopping centre, fast food outlets and the beautiful Wimmera River. Hidden behind a tall hedge Kuranda house has a double door wide entrance hall, 4 bedrooms, 2 living areas, dining, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, Plus a 5th small bedroom/office and sleeps up to 10 people. Old world charm with modern conveniences. We have one security camera at the front door facing the walk way/drive way and will be on during your stay.

Stay in our historic bluestone STONEYCROFT COTTAGE (2 b/r, sleeps 4) and adjoining shearers quarters (5 b/r, sleeps 11). The Cavendish Bunyip hotel and tranquil Settlers walk are 5 mins drive away, whilst Dunkeld's scenic mountains and great eateries are 20 minutes drive. Pets are very welcome but strictly not inside please.

The master bedroom has a queen bed with adjoining shower and basin, the 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and 3rd bedroom has 2 king single beds. It is an easy walk to Royal Mail Hotel (1.4km) The house is fully equipped with all utensils and kitchen facilities. Pets are welcome and the large yard is enclosed.
