Yet, it is just 20 minutes west of downtown Port Angeles - far enough to feel “away from it all,” but close enough to enjoy the town’s amenities.

He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Welcome to the "The Ship Wreck", a sea container in the forest. Located in the community of Shirley, stay for the escape or enjoy the local beaches, hiking, camping and surfing. The Ship Wreck is a comfortable recycled sea container, placed in the trees on my private and forested 2.5 acre property in rural Shirley BC. It is a peaceful space with a large outdoor fire pit and many amenities of home. The Ship Wreck is a "glamping" experience, but fully insulated and heated.
