Tucked amongst Redwoods and ivy on the hill, our forest getaway has a magical feel. Escape the hustle, relax in the hot tub and enjoy the upgraded home. Walk down to the river or the Rio Nido Roadhouse. Downtown Guerneville and Armstrong Woods State Park are a 5 min drive. Haven in the Woods is a short drive from wine tasting rooms and a MacKenzie Northwood Golf Club. Note: Must climb stairs to the house and we do not have a TV (though have strong internet). Deer Ranch is a remodeled 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home sitting on four acres of private land, with outdoor decks, hot tub, and plunge pool. This contemporary Frank Lloyd Wright-styled-like home sits on top of a hill with meadows below and towering redwoods that add to a peaceful seclusion getaway, and still only minutes from the hamlet of Occidental (1.3 miles). The pool is open during the summer months only (late May-end of September). The hot tub is on all year-round.
