Welcome Home to The Stone House, the 140 years old showplace of 37 Gatewood properties. On site with Equestrian Adventures, you'll have some pretty majestic neighbors in the adjacent pasture. We are approximately 8 miles from the farthest outdoor center. Access to the fishing and kayaking at the famous New River is right down the street. All of of the biking and hiking trails are nearby. The only Fayetteville listing that is surrounded on 3 sides by the New River Gorge National Park, and the Arrowhead Bike Trails. The 70,000 acre backyard is ideal for mountain bikers, hikers, bird watchers, trail runners, rock climbers, kayakers, and anyone who enjoys peace and quiet. Park your car, ride single track trails from the house. Kayakers will be half way between the put in and take out for the New River. Secluded feeling, yet Fayetteville is only 3 miles away via trail or car.

My place is close to New River Gorge, Gauley River, & Summersville Lake. The Vandalia House is located on our 300 acre farm bordering The Gauley River National Recreation Area with direct access to both the Gauley and Meadow rivers. A gorgeous home in a stunning & private location. We have private trails, access to rivers right here on the property. Close by there is whitewater rafting, mountain biking, boating, golfing, climbing, & fishing. 20 minutes to outstanding restaurants.

Secluded Yurt in the Heart of the New River Gorge

Situated only 3 miles from downtown Fayetteville and within 15 min of trails, rivers, and climbing, this idyllic space makes you feel like you are in your own little ecotopia. The yurt is nestled on 8 acres surrounded by gardens and the forest. It is built eco-friendly complete with a composting toilet which is incredibly easy to use. Large windows are situated to allow natural sunlight and cross breezes and the dome in the center of the roof lets you sleep under the stars at night.

Nice country setting. You are 10 minutes away from the New River Gorge Bridge and all that Fayetteville, WV has to offer. This includes, rafting, kayaking, hiking, rock climbing, zip lines, paintball, etc... The buildind was originally a barn and it was converted into an office in 2008. It has recently been renovated into a 4 bedroom and 2 bathroom rental. The kitchen is well equipped, new appliances, and granite countertops. The patio is 14x45, screened-in, ceiling fans, and TV.

Contemporary home located on 800 acres in the Appalachian Mountains. Incredible views.
