Dogs are welcome at a cost of $25.00 per dog - 2 dog maximum . 2 Night Minimum is required on all stays. 5 guest maximum.

Relax and enjoy the quiet at this tranquil cottage. Built in 1934, tiny La Casita is a private retreat in downtown Laporte. Cozy up to coffee and a book on the porch or wind down after a day in the Endless Mountains. Historic Eagles Mere, the Loyalsock State Forest, trails and swimming at World’s End State Park are minutes away. A family playground sits down the block. Parts of La Casita have been lovingly remodeled in 2024, including its bath. Bedrooms offer 1 queen, 1 double, and 1 day bed.

The second level of a separate structure on our property is private for you. A very quiet and tranquil setting nestled on the edge of the east side of town in historic Jim Thorpe. You can bike or walk to restaurants, the Lehigh River, Lehigh Gorge State Park, and local attractions. The downtown area is 1 mile from the property, but please note it will be up hill to return! Late checkout/ early check in by request only for an additional fee
