Access to the reserve is gained by entering and passing through the orchards on Le Domaine farm. The reserve itself is nestled next to the CBR dam, with the ideal opportunity to do silent watersport, like canoeing. A house on the estuary of a VERY BIG river ie - Lower Breede river - about 15km from the sea, the house is set back about about 15m from the river . It is completely off the grid , ie only solar power and rainwater. It might not suit city dwellers who need every gadget and convenience but its heaven for the hardier ones Please bring bedding and towels . The are pillows and various duvet inners but we don't have a washing machine so we cannot supply linen
