Come and stay in the second oldest house in Montagu. This heritage Cape Dutch house was built in 1854 and has been carefully renovated to capture the period with a mix of of antiques and contemporary furniture. This creates a feeling of luxury and serenity when you enter the house with its high ceilings and extra large rooms. Condé Naste Traveller who featured the house described it as the coolest farmhouse to stay in SA. There is also the option to rent the whole house exclusively.

Modern contemporary Westway Corner

This contemporary, well equipped and modern self-catering unit, attached to the main house, is completely private with its own entrance. It has an outside seating area under a pergola where guests can relax and enjoy the surrounding mountains. It is the perfect base from which to engage in many activities like ghost tours, horse riding, tractor rides, mountain biking, abseiling and rock climbing. The start of a number of hiking trails is only 350 meters from the accommodation. .

Come and experience yesteryear nostalgia when you stay at Airlies Self Catering. This charming old home (in excess of 100 years in age) offers a memorable trip back in time. This Scottish heritage house was built in the early 1900s and has the most beautifully preserved, lead glass doors, high pressed ceilings, and wooden floors. 5 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, and private patio with pool with beautiful Mountain Views.

Romantic getaway Krom Cottage

This charming cottage, situated in the historical part of Montagu, offers peace and tranquillity. It is separate from the main house and has its own front and very private back garden which makes it ideal for a romantic getaway. It has secure off street parking, a fully equipped modern kitchen and an en suite bathroom with shower. The start of several hiking trails is only 350 meters from the cottage making it the perfect base for the more adventurous.

You will be welcomed in a classic home with character, offering a tranquil setting with a magnificent mountain view. Large open-plan areas and windows opening onto a private court yard and swimming pool in a lovely garden. A visit you want to repeat. Breakfast is included in the price and dinner and/or sundowner platter can be done at an additional charge by prior arrangement. Guided mountain walks (weather permitting) at R150/walk.

"White Lily" is a cosy, lovely home, with a splashpool and build in braai area in the back. The house is surrounded by a big garden, where many tortoises come to feed. There are uninterupted views of the beautifull mountains of Montagu. From here there are many walking trials into the mountains and to waterfalls. White Lily is child friendly
