This off the grid 16 foot yurt has two views of the Shelldrake river and is perfect for the outdoor enthusiasts to escape from it all. Lots to do locally with Tehquamenon falls 35 minutes away, 30 minutes to whitefish point and 20 minutes to the town of Paradise down a sandy 4.7 mile two track. 4 wheel drive required! Enjoy your lakefront cabin on Lake Superior with private beach access. The adventure starts with the trip to Crisp Point Beach which is located 18 miles from route 123 driven on gravel and sand roads towards Crisp Point Lighthouse. The road goes through some of the most undeveloped land in the Eastern States. This off-grid cabin provides a wonderful experience of nature due to its remote location. It is filled all the amenities you need to enjoy beach life on Lake Superior.

Shelldrake Village Cabin

Unique, quaint and cozy cabin located on Lake Superior in the historic lumber town site of Shelldrake. Overlooks small harbor on Whitefish Bay with campfires and stargazing, surrounded by abundant history and wildlife! Beautiful sunrises over the lake and recent interior upgrades make this cabin the perfect place for a Paradise getaway. Cabin includes full Kitchen, 1 bath, 1 queen bed, 2 single beds w/trundle, wood stove and Smart TV and gas heater.

4 bedroom home four miles from Tahquamenon Falls

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Located seven miles west of paradise and four miles from the lower tahquamenon falls. The snowmobile trail 45 runs through the back yard approximately 150 feet from the home. Living room with a pool table. Circle driveway with plenty of room for large trailers. There’s also a 32x24 barn with a wood burning stove. This home has one small bathroom with a shower.

The Cabin

Our cabin is conveniently located directly across from the groomed snowmobile trail. Centrally located for easy access to Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks, the Soo Locks, and Oswald's Bear Ranch. Midway between Lakes Superior and Michigan with many inland lakes. New flooring and a full size fold out couch were added in the beginning of 2025. We can now accommodate 5-6 guests.
