The cottage is located on our 80 acre farmstead in the bucolic rolling hills of Western Wisconsin just over an hour from the Twin Cities. Relax, create, or dream in this peaceful setting. Cherish time with loved ones. Hike along the creek, woodlands and fields. Enjoy the plentiful birds and wildlife. Bring your bike in the summer, and snow shoes in the winter. Cozy up to the wood stove with a hot beverage. Work remotely with our high speed WiFi. We welcome up to two dogs for an additional fee.

Country location, peaceful and quiet. Apartment above detached garage, full kitchen, small deck and private stairway with beautiful view of the surrounding trees. Easily accessible, 3 miles from I-94 and St. Hwy. 29, 1/2 way between the university cities of Eau Claire and Menomonie, 1 1/4 hours from St. Paul/Minneapolis. There is a growing art and music scene, with multiple music festivals, etc. The area also has fine restaurants, theaters, parks, and historical sites. Come to be restored.

Lil’ Kickback on Elk Creek (Eau Claire area)

Remote, tranquil, quiet and private getaway on 5.8 acres on the banks of the Elk Creek; only 1.5 hours from the Twin Cities! This creek is known as a class 1 trout stream. Guests can enjoy fishing, sight seeing, canoeing and kayaking the Chippewa River or Elk Lake, biking, hiking, atv/utv and snowmobile trails nearby as well. Enter a world of peace and calm deep in the woods. This is a beautiful rustic cabin that has been beautifully restored. Permit issued and inspected by Dunn County.

Water's Edge House on Tainter Lake

Gorgeous little house with cap cod feel, right on the water. We call this baby "Water's Edge on Tainter Lake". Perfect way for a quick escape from the Twin cities, only 50 minutes away. Fish off the permanent dock on the water. Beautiful views and sunsets on a fun, active recreational lake. Short boat ride to Jake's super club. Some guests say its a "private location", but we are on a very active lake with houses close by. Please read our "other details to note" for more info.

Come stay on a calm and quiet section of the lake. This newly renovated home on Lake Wissota makes for the perfect lake getaway any time of year. Our 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath home comes with a full kitchen, a deck overlooking the lake, private dock, fire pit, 2 queen beds, a hot tub, and a 4 season room. 25 minutes from Menomonie (UW-Stout), 45 minutes to Eau Claire, 1 hr 15 minutes to MN. Kamshire Valley's Main Cabin offers an abundance of wildlife viewing, an inviting large brick patio and firepit, miles of trails for snowshoeing, hiking and cross-country skiing. Has 1 bedroom with Queen bed; If you need more rooms we have 2 additional rustic cabins (air, heat-no bathroom) that are available for additional $50/ cabin/night. Our spacious 900 sq. ft. studio/loft was once the art studio used by a local children’s book illustrator. You will notice some of her artwork and photos displayed throughout. The studio was designed with the intention of accommodating 2– 4 people. Our studio is beautiful, peaceful and private. Extra sanitizing practices are being taken for your safety.
