Located in a quiet rural setting along side the Kahurangi National Park, with beach access just over the road this is a great spot to base yourself for Golden Bay's adventures or relax with a book for a picnic on the beach. Its a short walk to the café and shops and all sorts of options around for activities including: kayaking, beach biking, a variety of hikes, fishing, swimming, caving and rock climbing. This unit is on the ground floor of our home. We live upstairs with our 2 children.

Studio by the beach

Everyone tells us they wished they stayed longer! Treat yourself to the peace and tranquillity of our place! The studio has everything you need for a relaxed stay. It's a large colourful room with a comfy Queen size bed. It is nestled in our large garden with just a short walk down to the beach which is great for walking , swimming or fishing! Golden Bay has so much to offer with beaches, bush-walks, cafes and lots of artisans and we are only a few minutes drive from the renowned Mussel Inn!

We are situated about a 10 min drive to beginning of northern end of Abel Tasman Nat Park. Continental Breakfast which includes cereals, fresh fruit,bread,milk and spreads. We have two rooms available, both of which you will have to yourselves on booking. 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and the other in the main area has a King size bed. Also separate laundry/toilet/shower area. Private entry and completely private to our upstairs dwelling. We are also a very quiet household so keep that in mind

Nestled next to Kahurangi National Park, is the closest BnB to the Heaphy Track Great Walk and the awe-inspiring Oparara Arches. A remote, private garden retreat complete with Labyrinth and off-grid hot tub (advance notice). This self-contained little house for 2 was once a Honey house. Ruru Nest Property is next to a river and farmland, just a few minutes outside of the village of Karamea with its cafes and pubs. Local food, nature connection walks available as extras to complete your stay.

Tata Beach Cottage

Beautiful Tata Beach, Golden Bay. Our little cottage is tucked close into Tata Beach, just a short stroll for your morning dip. Warm and sunny, this clean and easy care space is the perfect place to come to unwind, relax and allow nature to wrap its blanket around you. We have kept the space simple and uncluttered and love the simplicity of the cottage. With some recycled building products, no fussy modern ornaments, no chairs and tables this is a small and uncomplicated place to relax.

The 'Flax Pod' cabin in Pohara, amazing sea views

Our unique Flax Pod cabin is a repurposed shipping container with epic views of Golden Bay. It suits a relaxed couple, has a comfy queen bed, sofa and kitchenette. Large bi-folding doors open onto a deck where you can totally relax, enjoy a cold beer, sink into a quirky hot tub and soak up the sea views. Its in a great location and a great base to explore Golden Bay from. Enjoy getting back to the basics, dozing in a hammock, a friendly weka or two and a spectacular night sky.

The Beach Kiwi Studio

Tranquility at its best, our super colourful studio sits next to our cottage with a fence providing privacy and faces a peaceful reserve leading down to the beach , swimming is tide dependent .Spectacular views of Tasman Bay and walking distance to the saltwater baths, the mariner coffee cart and Toad hall which won NZ cafe of the year 2024 .A five-minute drive to the Motueka township and a 20-minute drive to The beginning of The Abel Tasman National Park

Executive's Pad

This is a large modern apartment on the lower level of our own house. Private hill location in a quiet street. Separate entry to the apartment with total privacy. Secure off street car parking in an enclosed yard with a motorised gate. It has a kitchenette, and has one large bedroom with en-suite, and also a separate large lounge. Great audio and TV system. Private deck with amazing views. BBQ & laundry are available on request.

Bamboo Cabin, Golden Bay Lodge

The Cabin is a peaceful hideaway nestled in a bamboo garden, giving it privacy and serenity. Enjoy beautiful sea views from the lounge and deck. It has a fully equiped kitchen, BBQ a cosy log fire for winter and Starlink Wifi. We offer private beach access and a shared spa pool with expansive views across the ocean. Take a stroll through 4ha of gardens and sample fruits from our organic orchard.
