We have a completely separate unit below for our guests with its own entrance . Our flexible bedding arrangements means we can accommodate a number of combinations. The super king in the bedroom can be used or two single beds if preferred. The fold away made up queen bed in the main area allows more space during the day. We are open to meeting the bed requirements you may wish to have 2 single beds in one room and a queen bed in the other. What a wonderful view you will have when you wake up.

Karaka studio is on the very edge of the Waimea Inlet with water twenty metres from your front door. Lie in bed and watch the tide come in. We are a private estuary island (Manuka Island) but we have drive on access at all times, 25 minutes to Nelson and Motueka. Rabbit Island beach(4km) and Taste Nelson Cycle Trail is a km from our gate. We are central to vineyards, cafes, 3/4 hour to Abel Tasman National park. We have amazing sea, rural , and mountain views. Total privacy assured.

The Great Taste Trail cycle-way passes by the door. Ruby Bay is situated halfway between Richmond and Motueka. Marahau, the gateway to the Abel Tasman National Park is 35km and 30 min to Nelson. Many beaches and wineries are nearby. Dog-friendly guests recommended as our dog lives on-site.
